SHED CLEANOUT
Every shed has the same story. It started with a mower and a few rakes. Then came the second mower, because the first one wouldn’t start. Bags of potting soil that went hard. A kiddie pool. Three wheelbarrows with flat tires. A tarp over something nobody remembers.
Now you open the door and something falls on your foot.
Nandy’s Junk Removal is a local, woman-owned company based in Paxton, out here in the hill towns where almost every yard has a shed. We clear them out so you can actually use them again.
If a mower or snow blower still has gas or oil in it, tell us when you book. We don’t take hazardous materials like gas cans, propane tanks, pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals, and a few oversized items are off the list. If you’re not sure, text a photo.
HOW IT WORKS
Call or text (774) 420-6434, or send photos through the quote form at nandysjunkremoval.com.
We reply with an upfront price and a time. No hidden fees.
Our uniformed, insured crew arrives on time.
We empty the shed, haul out any junk piled around it and load the truck.
Metal goes to recycling, usable tools and furniture go toward donation, and the rest goes to proper disposal.
We sweep out the shed. You pay on completion by card, cash or digital payment.
A lot of what lives in a shed can’t legally go in the trash here. Massachusetts bans leaves and yard waste from disposal. It also bans scrap metal, which covers most old mowers, grills, tools and wheelbarrow frames. Treated and untreated wood is banned from landfills. Old tires are banned from landfills too.
So a single shed can need three or four different stops: metal recycling, yard waste, wood and regular disposal. When we do a shed cleanout, we sort all of it for you and take it where it needs to go.
LOCAL KNOW-HOW
We serve Paxton, Worcester, Holden, Rutland, Princeton, Leicester, Spencer, West Boylston, Sterling, Shrewsbury and Auburn. The sheds look different from town to town.
Paxton has about 5,000 people and plenty of wooded lots. Sheds here often double as the firewood shelter and the snow gear room. Since we’re based right in town, a Paxton shed cleanout is about as close to home as it gets for us.
Town page: Paxton
Holden is the largest of the towns around us, with just under 20,000 residents. A lot of Holden yards have a shed and a garage, and both tend to fill up. We often clear them together in one trip.
Town page: Holden
Rutland is a growing town of about 9,000 people. It grew around 12 percent between 2010 and 2019 by state estimates, and its five villages, New Boston, West Rutland, Muschopauge, North Rutland and Turkey Hill, have everything from new builds to older farm properties with outbuildings.
Town page: Rutland
Princeton, with about 3,500 residents and Wachusett Mountain in its backyard, has big lots, old barns and outbuildings. A Princeton shed cleanout is often more like a small barn cleanout, and we’re fine with that.
Town page: Princeton
Sterling has just under 8,000 residents and sits along the Wachusett Reservoir and the Waushacum Ponds. West Boylston, also just under 8,000, borders the reservoir too. Both towns have plenty of backyard sheds full of lake gear, lawn equipment and old outdoor furniture.

Spencer and Leicester each have around 11,000 to 12,000 people and plenty of rural roads with big yards. The Spencer Transfer Station at 17 South Spencer Road is open Wednesdays and Saturdays for residents with a sticker or day pass, and its compost area is limited to permit holders. Leicester’s Recycling Center on Mannville Street opens only on the first, third and fifth Saturday mornings of the month.
City yards are smaller, but the sheds still fill up. Worcester runs seasonal yard waste drop-off sites, and its Millbury Street center takes bulk items by appointment, usually April through November. Shrewsbury and Auburn residents deal with per-item fees for bulky pickup. We just clear the whole shed in one visit.

Residents of Paxton, Holden, Rutland, Princeton, Sterling and West Boylston, along with Boylston, can use the Wachusett Watershed Regional Recycling Center at 131 Raymond Huntington Highway in West Boylston. It’s run by the nonprofit Wachusett Earthday in partnership with the state’s Department of Conservation and Recreation and the seven towns. It’s a great spot for reuse, with seasonal public hours and fees for some bulky items. If you’d rather not load your car four times, that’s what we’re for.
Leo M. from Worcester said we did a great job clearing a big junk pile and said he’ll call us again. A packed shed plus the pile behind it is the kind of job he meant.
